HOUSEHOLD HAZARDOUS WASTE
For safety and environmental reasons, Household Hazardous Waste (HHW) should not be included in your regular waste. Hazardous waste is not only hazardous to the environment, but also anyone who comes into contact with it. Hazardous waste may be explosive, flammable, poisonous, or consists of extremely sharp objects. It is possible for these types of waste to harm you, or others around you if not properly disposed of. Hazardous waste contaminates the earth, including our air, water supplies and wildlife.
During the Spring and Fall, our Mobile Hazardous Waste Unit travels throughout our region. For a schedule please see our Calendar of Events.

Westmorland-Albert will dispose of your Household Hazardous Waste free of charge. Our on site household hazardous waste depot is open on Friday from 10am-3pm & Saturday from 9am-1pm
